Andrea McMahon

Wife. Mom. Pastor. Author. (wannabe) Theologian.

Andrea McMahon is imperfectly all these things, but truly blessed to know Jesus. She does love to share Jesus and preach His Word, in words both spoken and written. It was a long road and never did she ever think she would be in ministry. But, now that she is, she is so appreciative that God would even think to use her. She has a fire to see the church be as it was intended to be- a light for the world and hope for the nations.

With fire in their bones and a Holy Spirit leading for God’s ways above all else, she and her husband serve as executive pastors at Discover Life Church in Lawrenceville, GA. They reside in metro Atlanta with their 3 kids and their beagle mix. Together, they like eating, hiking, and watching The Chosen. (Okay, maybe more the eating and The Chosen part, but hiking is lovely when the weather is perfect and there’s a waterfall to see).

Unmapped is Andrea McMahon’s debut book, unless you count her knock-off about babysitters who form a club that she wrote in 7th grade.

She would be honored to share during church services or women’s events, but on a limited basis. Please feel free direct message on Instagram @andreamcmahonwrites if you are interested or have any questions.

Discovering How God’s Will Has a Way.

What is God’s will? Do you want God’s will for your life? A lot of us think we do, but what exactly does that look like?

In this book, Andrea McMahon shares her own discovery of what it means to find and follow God’s will, meaning His perfect plan for holiness and wholeness. Using her personal journey, as well as scriptures including her self-established life verse of Proverbs 3:5-6, she delves into how she put her trust in God despite trying to put terms on her relationship with Him. Broken into four parts, this book examines finding God’s will through your vision, identity, circumstances, and decisions, ultimately giving him your whole heart. If you have ever wondered how to start putting your trust in God or just what God’s will for your life looks like, then this book is for you.

If we aren’t careful, our dreams can become idols that blind us to what God is trying to do in and through our lives.
